About me
I am a seasoned Business and Technology Executive dedicated to advancing digital transformation, cybersecurity, and technology innovation. With over two decades of experience in Management Consulting and Technology, I bring a blend of strategic vision and hands-on expertise to help organizations navigate the digital landscape.
Academically, I hold a PhD degree in Computer Science and am currently a Doctorate candidate in Business Administration. I also have a specialization in Public Policy, a Master in International Business and a MBA degree.
Throughout my career, I have led transformative, large-scale projects across various sectors, including both private and Government / public organizations. My work in cybersecurity has enabled me to develop and implement robust security frameworks for government agencies and private enterprises, strengthening their defenses against evolving cyber threats.
Currently, I serve as the Director of the Center for Research on Digital Government and Cyber Resilience at Signum Magnum College in Malta, where I drive initiatives to enhance digital governance and resilience across critical infrastructures.
As an Expert with the EU’s Cybernet, I contribute to the European Union’s global cybersecurity capacity-building efforts, providing guidance on cyber policy, conducting training sessions, and collaborating on knowledge-sharing initiatives that bolster cybersecurity resilience in partner countries. Working alongside a global network of professionals, I support the development of cybersecurity strategies and best practices to address international cyber threats effectively.
My trajectory includes a range of successful digital transformation, systems implementation, software development, and data analytics projects. I have held key leadership positions at respected organizations, including Stefanini, Seidor, Indra, Capgemini, and Accenture, where I honed my expertise in commercial strategy, digital innovation, and operational excellence.
My knowledge in cybersecurity standards and frameworks—including NIST, the ITU National Cybersecurity Strategy Framework, SecureOps, and Autonomous Security Operations (ASO)—enables me to craft and execute security strategies aligned with international standards.
In addition to my professional achievements, I am an active member of the OWASP Foundation and the Institute of Directors (UK), continuously engaging with developments in cybersecurity and governance. My goal is to deliver solutions that protect and propel organizations, ensuring they thrive in an increasingly digital and interconnected world.
